Happy Tails for Hunter

June 23, 2008

You may remember my story from earlier this year. My previous owners dropped me off at the shelter cause they didn’t want me anymore. It wasn’t my fault that I kept climbing over their fence; I was bored and they didn’t pay attention to me so I went looking for entertainment. Well, LRR fell in love so I decided to go with them until I found my forever home.

Well it didn’t take long to find my home. I won their hearts over and they fell in love with me, from the very start!

I am adjusting very well to my forever home. I enjoy all the walks I get to go on with lots of ball playing in the yard. I love the pool the best, I get to lay in it on hot sunny days. Plus I get all the entertainment I want with the squirrels in the backyard. It’s so much fun to chase and bark at them. My dad put new dog-proof screens into the doors, but I went through them to chase those pesky cats and squirrels.

My mommy says she can’t believe someone would ever have given me up, because I am such a sweetheart. I’ve started some training to learn how to stay and release my tennis balls. While I LOVE my tennis balls, I’m learning that I don’t have to have them with me all the time especially since I get to go everywhere with my family. I even have this cute little two-legged sister, I think she adores me. I get to sit right under her chair at meal time and get all the food that falls from her.

Everyone loves me, even the mailman and the neighbors. I get lots of love from everyone and I know how special I am to my family. Thanks LRR for finding me my perfect forever home. This is the best place I could be.

Woof , Woof for now, I gotta go hang out with my family but I will keep everyone updated on my new adventures!
