Zoe

Hello, I’m Zoe. I am a 3 year-old, yellow female, about 72-pounds, spayed, completely housebroken, crate-trained and up-to-date on all my shots.

Let me just say that I really don’t know how I’ve ended up at Lab Rescue. You see, I had a family of my own and was a very good girl, loved to play and was well-behaved in the house. Then one day they took me to a shelter because they had allergies. What does that mean?? Why did I have to go away??? The nice people from Lab Rescue told me that’s a common reason for some people to give up perfectly good dogs, and that it wasn’t my fault at all.

So here I am, in search of a new home where I can pick up right where I left off. As far as labs go, I’m just about as easy as they come. I love to play and will take turns fetching balls with my foster brothers. As you will see in my pictures, I also enjoy lounging around outside and sunning myself, who wouldn’t???

Inside the house, you will find I am quite well-behaved and settle down nicely. Did I mention that I’m completely house-broken, I know my name and some basic commands like “sit” and “down” and I’m sure I could learn many more if someone would be willing to teach me. I enjoy the company of people and other dogs and wouldn’t mind a home with doggie siblings to play with, though that’s not a requirement.

Do you have room for a nice girl like me in your house? I hope so, since I can’t wait to have a family of my own again!
