Penny

What a happy day, my name is Penny and I am a 2.5 year old spayed yellow female. I am completely housebroken and cratetrained. I am a cute little girl at about 55 pounds.

LRR doesn’t know too much about my background, you see I was a stray to a local shelter. LRR came to look at my cute little self and decided to take me with them. I was so happy they did! You see I am a HUGE cuddler and you don’t get much of that in the shelter.

So far I am adjusting to my new life with no problems. My foster mom can’t believe how fast I adjusted. I ate all my dinner, slept through the night and found my way to the couch all in the first day. Also, I am a TOTAL cuddler. My most favorite thing in the world is to crawl in my foster dad’s lap and snuggle. I also like to sit next to him when he is working on the computer. Don’t get me wrong I also like to play fetch in the backyard, but I am not ball obsessed like one of my foster brothers. Sometimes I will just go outside to lie on the deck for a few minutes, before it is time to come in for more snuggling.

I have been described as a medium-low energy labbie, even thought I do like to play fetch, I don’t need to, I much prefer a warm lap. While I am good with other dogs, I can take them or leave them. I don’t need a canine sibbling but if you have one, we will certainly get along.

I also like to go on walks sometimes and I have been told that I am good a leash, I don’t really pull and I don’t chase after squirrels. My foster dad took me on a few runs and was very pleased at how well I kept up in a nice position.

If it sounds like you and I might make good cuddling companions send in your applications. I will be waiting.
