Bonnie

My name is Bonnie, my sidekick is Clyde! Yep, the rescue named us that cause we were on the run in Pennsylvania, but we weren’t in trouble!

I am a 4 year old, black female. I am spayed, good with dogs, kids, curious about cats and I am a sweet, sweet girl. The shelter that found me on the run thinks that I was breeding stock for a local puppy mill. I do need a tummy tuck - it is obvious that I have been bred time and time again. But I am happy and healthy and so glad to be with LRR.

Everyone says that Clyde is beautiful - lucky boy! If his tummy were flabby like mine from having pups, no one would be raving about his looks! BUT we are still looking for homes - as terrific as we are… we just don’t seem to what people want.

I am not overweight anymore. My first foster Dad helped to get slim and trim. He says I like shredded wheat and I am not so overweight that I can’t jump in his lap! I love to be in my persons lap!

I am what they call an English lab. That means I am short, sort of boxy, and calmer than an American lab. I can just sit at your feet for hours - touching you of course. I wag my tail all the time and love to go for walks and rides. I don’t chase tennis balls or jog, so don’t expect that of me. But, I do get a little nuts and run and throw my toys for a bit - about 5 minutes - every few days… then I crash and want to be hugged.

If you think that I might fit into your home and you could love me even with my flabby tummy, please tell LRR so they can talk to you! I am waiting, PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE - I NEED A FOREVER HOME!
