Hi everybody, my name is Bert, as in Best Ever Retriever, Thank you. I am a 4 year old lanky yellow male and have expressive eye brows. I am neutered, completely housebroken, crate trained, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I am a lover. I love people, other dogs, walks, retrieving balls and not returning them. I do not think there is anything I do not enjoy doing. I am a healthy 80 pounds. I have a very deep “manly” bark which might scare some people but I’m extremely friendly and just saying Hi.

Seasons Greetings! My name is Evie and I came to LRR with my littermate Mollie. We are spayed and have all of our vaccinations. I’m crate trained, and I love other dogs. My first family told LRR that I am about 4 yrs old. I am extremely settled, fun, easy going and willing to learn. I am a “fluffy” 90lb very pretty Black labbie. LRR has me working on losing a couple of those “fluffy” pounds to get my girlish figure by spring.

Hey you! I am Dexter, a pretty cool name for a pretty cool guy. I was given up to a shelter by my family because they could no longer afford to care for me. I was born in June 2010 which makes me a little over 1.5yrs old. I am crate trained, housebroken, up to date on all my shots and neutered. I am a big tall boy.

Bones

Hello there! My name is Bones. No one knows why I have that name. Although I’m a trim 65 pounds, I’ve never been too skinny. Well, anyway, I am about 3 ½ years old and as you can see, I am a black male, neutered, h/w negative, housebroken, crate trained and up to date on all my shots. I even have nice, shiny, clean white teeth since LRR got them cleaned for me when I first arrived. Now I have a million-watt smile!

Hi, hi, hi!! I’m Bryce and I LOVE you…and you, and you, and you! Ok, my foster mom says to relax and tell my story to all you nice people out there. I’m about 16 months old so I’m still a bit of a puppy-brain dog. Originally my owner’s boyfriend bought me as a present for her but then they broke up so I ended up back with his parents and in a crate a lot.

Moe

Hi there – I’m Moe! I’m a black male, about 1 ½ years old. I can’t remember what my real birthday is, so I’m going to let my new family choose one and we can celebrate together every year! I am healthy, up to date on all my shots, crate trained, housebroken and neutered. I weigh 94 pounds but my foster mom is helping me lose about 5 or 10 so that I get to my perfect weight. I’m also really tall which is nice because it makes it easy to look at everything going on around me.

About our dogs

We generally have 3-6 Labs available for adoption at any one time. Listed here are only a few of the dogs currently in our system. If you are interested in any of our adoptable playmates, read about our adoption process. Approved applicants will be required to visit with several (usually at least 3) of our available dogs to ensure the best possible match is made.
