Lucy
“I Love Lucy”. I am hopng to hear that more and more. My name is Lucy and I am a very sweet and cuddly black lab born in August of 2010 I am spayed, up to date on all of my shoots, housebroken, crate trained and I have AKC papers. I am on the smaller side of labbies, but there is plenty of me to love.
Phil
Hello. I am Phil. I found LRR on Groundhog Day and I didn’t have a name, so they named me after the groundhog. I’m glad they didn’t decide to call me Punxsutawney! I’m a black male Labrador Retriever, housebroken, crate trained, neutered and up to date on all my shots. I was a stray to a shelter, so that’s about all anyone knows about me. They think that I am about five years old.
Ruby
My name is Ruby - and I am a GEM! That’s right, you can say that you have a 70 lb Ruby. I am a yellow female, about 3.5 yrs old. I am spayed, housebroken, crate trained, good with dogs and cats. I will be “kid tested” soon, so you’ll have to check back for the results. I am also current on all my vaccinations. I am lyme positive, so LRR is treating me for that.
Susie
I am Susie, Ruby’s sister, be sure to read her story too. I too am about 3.5 years old. I am a yellow female; spayed, current on vaccinations, housebroken, crate trained, good with dogs and cats. I will be kid tested soon - check back for the results! I weigh 67 lbs, and I am a medium energy girl.
Pepper
Hola! My name is Pepper and, like my name, I can be sweet and loveable or hot and spicy. I have been spayed and have all of my vaccinations. I’m crate trained, house broken, love people and other dogs. I’m a gorgeous shiny 3 year old black girl. I‘m working on my figure but you never ask a lady about her weight. I am fun loving, easy going, can play chase, or fetch and can crash with the best.
Bean
Bean, Beanbag, Jumping Bean….yes that’s really me. You can call me whatever you like, just as long as you don’t call me too late for dinner! I am a black male, probably about 1.5years old. I am probably a little more than a lab, I may have some flatcoat retriever in my geneology too. I am up to date on all my shots, negative for HW and Lyme and neutered. I am a tall but thin boy- I weigh only about 55lbs.
Bosco - UPDATE 11/5/12
Hi folks, my name is Bosco. I am a chocolate lab, male, neutered, age 6 and I love everyone - dogs, kids, cats. I am a bit overweight and need to lose a few pounds, well, about 15-20, but thats a few, right? Please read on, you have to hear my story!
Penny
Hi – I’m Penny! You know what they say – “Find a Penny, Pick it up, All day -You’ll have good luck.” LRR did the finding and picking up part…so if you adopt me, we will both have good luck all day, every day! I am a three year old spayed yellow female, housebroken, crate-trained and up to date on all my shots. I’m a hearty Labbie at about 85 pounds.

Hi, hi, hi!! I’m Bryce and I LOVE you…and you, and you, and you! Ok, my foster mom says to relax and tell my story to all you nice people out there. My birthdate is 8/3/2010. Originally my owner’s boyfriend bought me as a present for her but then they broke up so I ended up back with his parents and in a crate a lot.

My name is Winston, and I am a 5 year old yellow male. I am neutered, housebroken, crate trained, good with dogs and cats. I am a nice medium energy boy, and yes, I am quite handsome. I am fully vaccinated and I am on heartworm preventative.
Bert
Hi everybody, my name is Bert, as in Best Ever Retriever, Thank you. I am a 4 year old lanky yellow male and have expressive eye brows. I am neutered, completely housebroken, crate trained, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I am a lover. I love people, other dogs, walks, retrieving balls and not returning them. I do not think there is anything I do not enjoy doing. I am a healthy 80 pounds. I have a very deep “manly” bark which might scare some people but I’m extremely friendly and just saying Hi.

Hello there, I am Charming Charlie, I am looking forward to meeting you! I am a black male lab. I’m neutered, have all my vaccinations, I’m housebroken and crate trained. I am a nice medium to low energy dog. I am good with dogs and have met a number of cats with no problem. My age - well, thats tough to say–the shelter couldn’t age me, the rescue couldn’t age me, the vet couldn’t guess my age - so they are taking a guess 5-6 yrs old.

I heard its Dog Days! Wow! Just for me?! My name is Jessie and I am a spayed black female. I am up to date on all my shots, housebroken, crate-trained and as happy as can be. I am currently lugging around a pretty heavy cast on my leg to repair my ACL but we can talk about that in a minute. I am a petite girl, about 55lbs.
Dutchess
Hi there, my name is Dutchess - my sister is Roxie. I am a yellow female, spayed, housebroken and crate trained. I love other dogs, I lived with a small child and a cat and Roxie too of course. Our birthdate is 12/4/10, so we are just teenagers! BUT like Roxie said, don’t let that deter you - we are very mature girls for our age.

Its me! Hanna! or Hanna-Banana. I am a 2.5 year old black lab. I’m still waiting for the technology where you can reach into your computer and pet me while I tell you my story but until then, I’ll just have to settle for cuddling with my foster home until my forever family comes to get me. I am housebroken, crate-trained, up to date on all my shots and a wonderful family companion.
