Birdie

I’m Birdie, aren’t I cute? I’m about four years old, black female. I’ve been spayed and am up to date on my shots. I am house broken and crate trained.

I was stray before I went to the shelter. The first thing LRR decided was in my future was was a bath. A nice BIG bath. Does anyone know what a few days without the comforts of home will do to a girl’s coat? So now I am clean, smell like a dog rather than something unsightly, and I have a gorgeous black silk coat. I am ready to find a home.

So even though I am a Labrador Retriever, I’m not very good at retrieving! I’ll chase the ball but I’m not very good at returning the ball to you-maybe I will learn in my foster home? I really want to be loved. I like to be close and have someone pet me. I am not pushy, I just like to be close. I’m a sweet girl who is looking to have a new home where I can see some of the world, lay on the floor and be part of a family.

Do I sound like a lab that would make a good match for your family? If so, please submit your application today!
