Miles

Well hello! My name is Miles- you probably already met my brother River, but in case you have not, we are litter mates. We were born in March of 2004 which makes us about 6 years old. I am a black male, neutered at an early age and up to date on all my shots and vaccinations. I am a little bigger and weigh about 80lbs.

You may ask then, why am I with rescue? Not too long ago, our parents had twin girls and decided that River and I were too much for them. So, they traded in their two, four-legged, twin boys for a set of two, two-legged, twin girls.

I am a spunky, sweet, super smart guy. I love to romp and play outdoors in the yard or go for a nice walk on the leash. My foster people say that I heel very well! Indoors, I like to settle and relax. It is nice being around the other dogs at my foster homes, but people are really the center of my world. I am also a big leaner and lover. If you thought River was smart…I am smarter. I can use my nose to flip the latch of a chain link fence so you have to be smarter than I am and use a clip since I don’t have those opposable thumbs. I have other tricks too, but we can talk about those when we meet. As for tennis balls, I love them. Okay really, I just love any ball…big, little, bouncy, squeaky, soft or hard. I love to retrieve them, gnaw at them until they are mush and then tear them open….its great fun!

I have lived with cats (but don’t tell them that I am a little afraid of them) so we have a great relationship.
