Hershey

Hershey is my name….I am Mocha’s sister, and I too an 2-3 years old. I am a 75 lb chocolate female, spayed, up to date on shots, housebroken, crate trained. I am great with kids and other dogs.

My story is the same as Mocha’s, not bad at all. We lived together for a couple of years with a family. We all recently moved across country, they had a human baby, and Mom is expected to be called up to Iraq. Hershey and I had a lot of time on our hands. One day we decided to wander off when we were in the yard. Our Mom and Dad found us at the shelter safe and sound, bailed us out, and realized that we each may need a family that could give us more attention. We love Dad for contacting Lab Retriever Rescue. The day LRR came to visit, Mocha and I said our goodbyes, wished each other the best of luck and we started our journeys. We are doing great, having fun and showing our separate personalities.

I love to give “Hershey Kisses” and I do it so well (and Mocha can’t say “Mocha Kisses” and get the same effect!). I am very sweet and lean in close to give ever so gentle kisses to my people. And kids, wow they are fun! I spent time with some that liked me so much they got in my crate with me - we napped and cuddled.

My foster Mom says that I am so well behaved, and well adjusted that I am a “no assembly required” girl. I guess that’s a good thing. I know basic obedience commands, I don’t beg at the dinner table, I am very polite - basically I am a dynamic little girl. I’m going to make your choice a tough one!

At one of my foster homes, I loved to chase the labbie boys that lived there. I would go out and chase them around the trees, and run and play ball with them. It was SO much fun. Then when I came inside, I would relax and cuddle with the people - life is good!

Now, to get down to business, I’m looking for a new family. A nice canine brother or sister could be good, some kids, and people that love “Hershey Kisses”…my kind, course. If you want to test out my great kisses, send in your application. Mocha and I will be checking them daily looking for just the right new home.
