Ricky

My name is Ricky. I am a tall, lean, lanky, American Chocolate lab, and I weigh about 90-100 lbs. I am about 18 months old. My feet are big, my tail is a bit too long and I have big ears - OH NO, what if I grow into them all!!!

I had a great owner, but she got very sick and couldn’t keep me. So she called LRR to be sure that I get a great home. It was very hard for her to give me up.

My owner did all of the right things for me. I was neutered early, I had all my shots, I even had obedience training. I know my commands, but my owner wasn’t able to reinforce my training due to her illness. But I do remember, I just have to be reminded.

I am a bit puppy like, I ride well in the car, I love other dogs. I do settle down nicely and love to be hugged and petted. LRR says I am a very well adjusted boy. In my first LRR home, my foster mom said I was easy to take pictures of since I would just lay down and be good! I was proud of myself.
