Sophie

My name is Sophie - or at least it is now since I didn’t have a name when I came to LRR. I am about 3 years old, a yellow female and I am really cute. I am quiet and good in my crate. I am good with other dogs, I like all the people that I have met so far and I love to ride in the car.

My foster mom worked with me today and found out that I know sit, stay, down and shake - I wish I could talk and tell LRR my story but I guess they just have to keeping trying to figure it out.

I was a stray and ended up in a shelter. The shelter liked me a lot and called LRR to come and get me. People come to shelters to adopt dogs all the time, but adult dogs rarely get adopted - for some odd reason, people like to have puppies. I can’t imagine anyone wanting a puppy that isn’t housebroken, that chews things and needs all that training when they can have ME.

Well, I am sure that LRR will find me a great home. I still need to be evaluated some more, they will update my story as they learn more things about me. Maybe you should apply for me - I like to meet new people - we could be a match you know?!
