Terms And Conditions Of Our Adoption Contract

Responsible rescue organizations use adoption contracts to clarify the care required for their dogs. In order to finalize an adoption with LRR, the adopter(s) must sign and agree to our Adoption Contract. Unfortunately, if you do not agree to all of our conditions, you will not be allowed to adopt an animal from us.

This contract helps to ensure that the adopters share LRR’s philosophy on dog care and ownership. In order to make the adoption process less stressful and a positive experience for you, we strongly suggest you search for a rescue group whose philosophy on dog care and ownership matches your own.

Here are a few of LRR’s terms and conditions in the contract:

  • You agree to provide food, water, shelter, veterinary care and humane treatment at all times.
  • You agree to take the dog annually to the veterinarian for necessary boosters/vaccinations.
  • You agree to abide by all state and local animal control laws in your area.
  • You agree to keep your LRR dog on heartworm disease preventative medication all year round and have a heartworm test done annually.

Bryce

Hi, hi, hi!! I’m Bryce and I LOVE you…and you, and you, and you! Ok, my foster mom says to relax and tell my story to all you nice people out there. I’m about 16 months old so I’m still a bit of a puppy-brain dog. Originally my owner’s boyfriend bought me as a present for her but then they broke up so I ended up back with his parents and in a crate a lot.
