Huey

IN MEMORY OF HUEY. HE CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE IN JANUARY 2007. Huey, now 10, was adopted in 1996 and joined his younger dog brother, Max. Huey likes to lounge around the house with his brother and the rest of the family. He enjoys spending time in the backyard and lounging on the deck. When it’s dinner time, you can find Huey hanging out at the dinner table, waiting for those dinner scraps. Yum! (4/04)

Dolly

IN MEMORY OF DOLLY, WHO CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE IN FEBRUARY, 2005. Dolly is at the gentle age of 12. She was adopted from LRR in 1998. Dolly still likes to go for walks and likes greeting those she meets, in the hopes of getting some attention. As with most senior dogs, Dolly is experiencing some hip problems. But those massages feel so good! The best part of Dolly’s day is simply making her family smile. (4/04)

Hogan

IN MEMORY OF HOGAN, WHO CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE IN APRIL, 2005. Hogan was adopted in 1996. He loved to play ball and swim endlessly. He liked to share his things with his new little brother Enzo (another LLR dog) and would admit, on a good day, that he actually liked the new kid. And, on occasion, Hogan would be seen sharing his bed with his brother. (4/04)

Sundance

IN MEMORY OF SUNDANCE. HE CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE IN APRIL 2004, AT THE AGE OF 11.

In 1999, Sundance was adopted at the age of six. In the mornings, he would snuggle in bed with mom before she had to get up for work. He spent lots of time outside taking walks, chasing squirrels and chipmunks, playing with the other dogs, and sunning on the deck. At the end of the day, Sundance liked to hang out on the sofa, watching TV. Then, it’s time for bed. (4/04)

Dale

IN MEMORY OF DALE. HE CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE IN AUGUST 2009, AT THE AGE OF 11. Dale, adopted on his Mom’s birthday in February ‘04, loves to snuggle with his Mom and his two sisters, Cindy Lou (adopted from Lab Rescue in February ‘06) and Sweetie (adopted from HART in February ‘05). Although he usually sleeps on one of the dog beds in Mom’s room, Dale also has a permanent spot on the big dog bed in the living room (sometimes called “the sofa”). Belly rubs and kisses are his favorite things, but he also loves to bury his head in Mom’s lap and get his ears rubbed for as long as Mom is willing to do it. Dale says that life is good and he is so happy that LRR found him a great home. His Mom says he is the best birthday present she ever had. (5/04, rev. 10/06)
